The Gothic style castle was built in 1855 by I.Ullmann on the foundations of an older fortress. The remains of the fort are from 14th century and are incorporated into the palaces tower.  The fort originally had a moat.  The castle was rebuilt in 19th century into today's appearance and was recently used as a youths institute.  After the fall of the Communist regime, it was returned to the original owners in restitution. The castle is set in a well maintained park ( which is not part of the sale).
